The Perth Smile Angel Project is the brainchild of Alida Cubbage of Caffissimo West End. This unique community project will help raise much needed funds for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal through the gift of a smile!
That's right, this is an appeal for your smile - not toys, clothes or vouchers - but the genuine smiles of Perthians!
To participate in this project, visit the official 'Smile Booth' which will be located outside the Myer Department Store in Perth City over 4 weekends; 16th November till the 21st December, each Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
Your photo will be taken in exchange for a gold coin donation or more and will then become part of the 'Smile Walk'; a unique street exhibition of Perth Smile Angel photographs in participating city cafes and small bars.
At the 'Smile Booth' you will be able to meet and greet the Perth Smile Angel ambassadors and some secret celebrity special guests! Head to the Perth Smile Angel Facebook profile to find out just who is participating in the event.
And even if you are unable to visit the 'Smile Booth' - you can still take part in this project; simply send your photograph and donation online; head to the official website for more details.
All the donated funds will then be handed over to the Salvation Army by Perth Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi on Saturday, 21st December 2013.
This is a great opportunity for the people of Perth to band together and offer the Salvation Army a one of a kind gift. Share your smile this Christmas season and help change the life of another.
The Perth Smile Angel Project is proudly sponsored by Unity Insurance.
City based cafes and bars are welcome to participate in the 'Smile Walk' street exhibition; if you would like to take part in the exhibition or sponsor this event, contact Alida at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0411 885 318.
