There's a new fundraising event in town but you don't have to get sweaty or dirty or even own a pair of running shoes. Instead you can frock up, sip champagne and enjoy fashion parades and pop-up shops featuring the latest collections from upcoming and established WA designers. The inaugural on the weekend of 17 and 18 May promises stylish entertainment and shopping with funds raised going to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.

Proudly hosted by Coventry Village , the weekend includes two main events. On Saturday the focus is on fashion parades: Beachwear, Ready-to-Wear and Eveningwear, which also features Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation Child Ambassador Josephine Pitham. Standard tickets include admission and canapés, but for a few dollars more a VIP entry will get you a front row seat with a glass of bubbly and a gift bag full of goodies. There will also be a range of goods up for auction during the day. Some of the gorgeous items on offer are pictured in this article with more displayed on the Facebook page.

On Sunday there will be a pop-up market featuring the work of WA fashion designers. Don't miss this chance to shop for a unique outfit and support local style.
