The 2015 IGA Perth Royal show is coming to town from September 26th to October 3rd. The Perth Royal Show has been a favourite event of mine for over 20 years. Now that I have children of my own it is quickly becoming their most anticipated event each year with this year being no exception.

The IGA Perth Royal Show is fantastic day out for the everyone. With its fun show atmosphere, animals, free events, food, the various stalls, showbags, rides, fireworks and our family favourite - the yellow brick road, there is so much to cram into a day at the show.

Entry this year, will cost families more as children are no longer free. You can save yourself some money by pre ordering the tickets online or at your local IGA up until midnight on the 25th of September.

Ticket Pricing is:

Tickets can be purchased online.

Getting There:
The state government is offering free public transport to the show on Monday the 28th of September only. If you attend on a different day and are planning to use public transport you will need to purchase your ticket as per normal. For ticket prices refer to the transperth website.

Attractions:
The 2015 Perth Royal show will include a brand new attraction "GottaSee Dinosaur Adventures". This is sure to be a hit with your children as the show brings to life these prehistoric dinosaurs. As part of the show you get to walk through the mouth of a T-Rex as you enter an exciting life like display of moving dinosaurs. Watch the video of this exciting attraction here .

Other free attractions you will not want to miss include the monster trucks, racing and diving pigs and the fireworks spectacular each night at 8pm.

The official IGA Perth Royal show website has a full list of events by day and time . It is well worth checking out if you don't want to miss a particular event and it will help you plan your day.

Animals:
For the animal lovers there are plenty of things to see this year. Here is a list of 10 free animal attractions and events to check out.

As always it pays to check out the showbags beforehand. There are 65 new and exciting showbags this year. Some new showbags that I anticipate will be popular with the children include the Despicable Me Minions bag, the Frozen character bags, the Star Wars bags and the Marvel showbags. All the old favourites are once again available (lets face it who hasn't bought a $3 Bertie Beetle bag at some stage).

Rides:
Many of the favourites return again this year but a few noteworthy rides for the adrenaline junkies are "Freak Out", XXXL and Nitro. There are also many rides for younger children with bouncy castles, giant slides, bumper cars, tea cups, mini ferris wheels and so much more.

With hours of entertainment each day, the 2015 IGA Perth Royal Show will not disappoint. Be sure to check out the official event website and plan your day ahead of time.
