"So, we love the moon..." is a group of event organisers based in Perth and they are totally passionate about the arts!
As a small, local team, they officially began the group in 2019. At this time, they were teaming to bring moon-themed festivals to the people of Perth. There are many mysteries of nature which are excited by the "diversity of artistic endeavours and aptitudes of local creatives." This will be a small outdoors festival which will be held beneath the rising full moon!!
The group appraises beautiful art, people, and a variety of cultural activities. The importance of staying connected, both with the people near us or the land on which we actually live, is of great interest. We are amazed by the lovely things in nature that are most present, yet least, oddly enough, are loosely understood.
This group is known as The Perth Moon Festival!
On 11th January 2020, there is going to be a small outdoors art festival by the warm summer riverside and this will be held beneath the rising full moon! Cost of this venue will be $25 per adult, and it will be held at Bayside Kitchen, 5 Hackett Drive, Crawley. It will be on from 6.00 pm to 10.30 pm and you can book your site from this
link.
About this Event
This whole idea is an unusual event and brings you a function that will have a unique experience beneath the rising full moon. In its first emphasis, the festival features an exhibition of photographic work which was done by Sturt Jasher, as well as live music from Flood the Moon. There will also be more and there will be some local folk, including RUNAMUK Cider, and a range of family-friendly activities for all!
It is something you will be able to get excited for what this event has to offer! Matilda Bay sports area has some of the best moonrises in our state and the district itself is an incredible one there. Here you will have a night of fun, see the art and the moon gazing goodness.
There will be a telescope there for all to use.
I believe John Lennon once said "We all shine on, like the moon and the stars and the sun" and this was indeed a good song and fits in so well with this theme of the event.
This is really a different type of revenue that we will be able to attend and it should end up being interesting, fascinating and something that will bring pleasure to those working around it.
