A great choice of exclusive markets and fairs in May
Perth has a huge number of markets, both general and some exclusive hand-made items at these markets. This list will give you one spot to look over and pick which one or ones you want to attend.

Markets are such fun and over the years, I have picked up some remarkable presents, clothing and general items, so why not join in the fun of some of these events.

1. FAMILY MARKET DAY
This market will be on at the Swan Valley Oasis Resort, 10250 West Swan Road, Henley Brook on Sunday 6th May from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm.

Admission is free and there will be market stalls, supa golf, laser corps, live music, good food and the bar will be open.

2. WEDDING MARKET
So - you may be getting married, or he or she may have just popped the question, and you have answered with a resounding YES!

This is the market for you - it will be held on Saturday 5th May from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm at Winthrop Hall, University of WA, Crawley, and admission is free.

There are hundreds of wonderful designers in Western Australia, but the very best are sometimes not so easy to find. At these markets, it is all about being able to see local designers and create that fantastic gown for the evening, and/or have one specially made for you.

Included at these markets are handcrafted jewellery, veils, wedding couture, stationery, stylists, flowers, plus lots more.

3. MEGA MARKETS
These markets will be held at the Mills Park Centre, 86 Brixton Street, Beckenham, on Saturday 12th May from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm and admission is free.

They are community markets in a family-friendly environment and here there will be jewellery, handmade items, decor, craft supplies, clothing, kids clothes, woodwork items, soaps, candles, beauty and skincare and lots more. Also, a coffee shop, playgrounds, and walking paths are in this park.

4. LADYBIRD MARKETS AT MT HAWTHORN STREETS & LANES FESTIVAL
This is huge and will be held on 6th May, 2018, and you can read all about this one at this link.

5. MOTHER'S DAY MARKETS
These will be on at the Quinn's Rock Sports Club, Tapping Way, Quinns Rocks on Saturday 12th May from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm.

This is a great opportunity to buy your Mother's Day present, as the markets will be full of unique market stalls, as well as lawn games to keep the children busy while you shop!

There will also be a special Mother's Day menu from the Club while the licensed bar will be open.

6. THE HILLS ARTISANS
This will be held on the Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May, at Pickering Brook Sports Club, 35 Weston Road, from 10.00 am.

The Hills Artisans will be showcasing the work of local Perth Hills Artisans and there will be a large variety of handcrafted masterpieces by talented artisans. You can discover a collection of unique art and inspiring goods available for sale.

There will also be plenty of entertainment and things to do for the children, as well as free entry and heaps of parking.
