The Perth Japan Festival for this year has migrated to Elizabeth Quay on the Esplanade and will be held on Saturday 7 March 2020 from 11am to 7pm. This FREE cultural event is held every summer since 2013 and promotes friendship between Japan and Perth. You'll find food stalls, small goods and exhibits of cultural information with stage events including Japanese martial arts, music and pop culture.
If you'd like to be a part of this cultural event as a volunteer, be sure to fill out the REGISTRATION FORM. You'll be contacted when the Perth Japan Committee accepts your application. Applications CLOSE at the end of February, and perhaps sooner if numbers have reached capacity.
A day filled with market stalls and stage performances, the program will be released closer to date. Stay updated via the event page and the Facebook page. Try again next year if you've missed out on registration for the Long Nori Maki Event. The Long-Norimaki Sushi event is provided by Yamamoto Nori Ten and it is for KIDS ONLY to enjoy making sushi. For now, be sure to put the date in your diary until the publication of lineup of events so you don't miss out on a culturally rich family fun day.
