Perth International Comedy Festival 2012

Event: -
Launching on May 2nd and continuing until the 20th, the Perth International Comedy Festival will be inspiring the local population with a diverse range of comedy and art forms, from thriller-story performances to hypnotic sequences. The assorted variety of acts will be presented at a selection of venues, all within a 5-10 minute walk of each other, with the Astor Theatre in Mount Lawley being the centre of the festival's attractions.

The PICF bill features many brilliant acts hailing from all over the world, including Deanne Smith (Canada) Des Bishop (Ireland), Stephen K Amos (UK) and 'Pajama Men' (USA), as well as the stars of Australian radio, 'Tripod', and well-known comedian Tom Gleeson.

Each act sells only a limited amount of tickets, and while there is a cost to some of the performances, other events are free. While the Opening Night Gala has sold out, the evening of the 20th of May will round off a manic 19 days of laughs in the only way a comedy festival should - with a Festival Finale, featuring a fabulous line-up including Fiona O'Loughlin, Sammy J & Randy, Brendon Burns, Greg Fleet, Dave Callan and more. The night will also include the presentation of the 2012 PICF Awards.

Tickets to any of the performances and information regarding them can be found on the Perth International Comedy Festival website or BOCSTICKETING.
