Enjoy an afternoon of fun with the Perth Homeless Support Group at Rollerzone in Malaga.
The price includes a two-hour roller-skating session, a drink and hot chips. Adults and children are encouraged to participate in this family-friendly event. As usual, there is always more at a PHSG event with a door prize and raffles.
You can bring your own skates as long as they are in good working order with no protruding axles or bolts. Don't worry, if you are 'skateless', $3.00 will hire you a pair of skates (payable direct to the Rollerzone on arrival).
The Perth Homeless Support Group Inc (PHSG) adopts a 'hands-on' approach to meet the homeless and those at risk of being homeless, by seeing their need and acting in a way that makes a difference to their situation. Please log on, 'like', 'follow' and 'share' their 'EVENTS' page and help support Perth's homeless.
Walk with a purpose
Getting your skates on helps others get their shoes on.
PHSG volunteers gather every Sunday, in the State Library Car Park, then assemble outside the State Library, followed by an organised walk through the Murray and Hay Street Malls, handing out Care Packs (food and toiletry), to the homeless of Perth. If you are interested in walking with a purpose, find out how you can help.
Put your skills to work
If you can offer any assistance or volunteer, you are most welcome to help support this small charity with a big heart. Moreover, you can join their Facebook page and discover how you can help put your skills to work.
