ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Perth Garden Festival has a rich 45-year history and has long been regarded as the most prestigious and highly successful showcase for the horticultural industry in Western Australia.
Established in 1972, the event began at the Claremont Showgrounds and after 15 years, the event outgrew the venue and was then relocated to Perry Lakes Reserve in Floreat.
It is now held in McCallum Park and the event continues to grow in popularity and by 1998, attendance figures had soared to a huge 72,000, and now some ten years later, figures are much higher than this.
