I've heard that this year's Perth Fringe Festival is the third-largest in the world. The extraordinary range of acts available, supported by great facilities, make that claim very plausible - and a rightful source of pride for our community. If you take the time to wander between the Urban Orchard and the Pleasure Gardens, you will be regaled with a fantastic range of surprising venues, presenting an incredible range pure pleasure. These all serve to demonstrate the range and depth of not only the quality of the acts on display this year. They also serve to demonstrate the sophistication, engagement, and potential of the Perth Arts Scene.

It's the small things that make the most difference, though.The fact that there are so many volunteers who are making the ticketing process and stage management seamless is an important but perhaps undervalued part of your night out.

Of course, it's the performers who make the Festival one of the best in the world.I can't profess to have seem anywhere near all of the shows, but I've self-funded about 10 so far. The quality has been fairly disappointing show that I would stear people away from - but that's the exception. I would almost defy anyone to not be able to find something that amuses/titillates/stimulates during this Festival/

Come in and see what Northbridge should be like all year around.
