The next get together for the
is on Sunday 25th June 2017.
For this event, Dave Robertson and the Kiss List will be performing. A special appearance by Rick Steele will ensure a fantastic night for all.
Dave Robertson has performed his indie folk pop songs at many venues. He has supported The Basics in Tasmania and Canadian singer-songwriter Carolyna Lovely in Vancouver, as well as performing the political "Rogue State" to thousands at the Walk Against Warming rally in Fremantle in 2007.
The Kiss List will soon be releasing the much anticipated album Oil, Love and Oxygen, to follow up Dave's Little Scientist EP that proved popular on radio. Dave is supported by Kiss List featuring Merle "alt-folk professor" Fyshwick adding harmony layers and drums, Tore Pedersen on slinky bass and Rob Findlay adding a pop/rock sensibility with tasty little licks of electric guitar.
Rick Steele is very well known in the local blues scene. He has been playing in Perth for more than 30 years. Since arriving in Perth in 1976 he has been delivering his mix of blues and country all over WA and also nationally and overseas. He has played in numerous bands including his own band, the Hot Biscuit Band, and released several recordings. He has been the president of the Perth Blues Club for over two decades. Apart from his solo albums and several singles, he has been nominated for country performer of the Year.
The concert is held at the Mount Lawley Bowling Club, on Rookwood Street, Mount Lawley. The program runs from 5.00pm till 8.00pm. There is ample free parking onsite.
Entry is always free. The bar will be open and prices are quite reasonable.
