Brace yourself Perth, you are about to be hit with a fashion storm like no other. Residents and visitors can expect widespread festivities, a downpour of colour, fresh season's collections and a sprinkling of restyle.
WA's most premier fashion event The Perth Fashion Festival will be crossing the city between Wednesday 19th to Tuesday 25th September.
Be prepared; view your survival guide from the festival's website. If you have missed tickets to the shows you love, frugal fashion followers can weather the storm by attending any of the numerous free events.
This year's free line-up includes (but is not limited to) pop up stores, in-store designers, student showcases and studio sessions ON WILLIAM. Outfits will be restyled by 10 Perth Fashion Bloggers from Perth Charity Op-Shops; Curtin University will show high-tech fashion and a live 'studio setting' fashion photo shoot will play out in theWesley Quarter.
Perhaps you would prefer to imagine you are in Italy with Marchesi On Parade, which includes pieces from Giorgio Armani and Versace.
If you need to duck for cover, head to the Perth State Library where Liz Davenport will be launching her autobiography "A Life Of Colour".
So dust of your heels and dry clean your best dress.
