Looking for a tasty, low cost lunch outing?
There is no doubt that Perth boasts a large number of restaurants and lunch bars across the city and surrounds. I'm going to let you in on one of my favourite lunch spots found north of the river, and an adjacent dessert location that couples well with a quaint day out and about in Morley!
If you are looking for a tasty local lunch from a modern restaraunt that is very reasonably priced, look no further than the Coventry Village in Morley. The village itself contains an impressive and diverse amount of eatery's from classic burgers and fish and chip shops, to authentic Indian and Lebanese cuisine. The one place that I always visit for a delicious lunch and cheeky cocktail is Two40three. For $16, you can grab yourself a classic sit down lunchtime meal that is high in quality, and low in price. My recommendation for a lunchtime option is their salt and pepper quid, or Thai beef salad.
After you've delighted yourself with lunch and a possible drink at Two40three, head out of the door and turn to the left for your next treat! If you've got a sweet tooth- Bella's Cupcakes is the place to be. They have a wide range of delectable cupcake flavours including Mars Bar, Fererro and Peanut Butter. They also have gelato on offer for those less inclined to have a cakey treat. All of their treats are absolutely divine, and the perfect dessert to finish off an afternoon!
Due to the village's accessible location, you can craft your day around a nice lunch and perhaps some shopping within the village itself, or across the road at the Morley Galleria.
Fun tip - Within the Coventry Village is a pet shop where you can stand outside and pat the store cat! The cat is basically a giant ball of fluff that sits on its own couch at the entrance of the store. Food plus cupcakes plus cat cuddles- what more could you ask for?
