If there is one thing that Perth is certainly not short of, it is craft beer. In fact, over 50 of Perth's breweries and cideries will bring a staggering 350 beers and ciders to the 2018 Perth Craft Beer Festival in August.

This year's festival will be held at the Ice Cream Factory in Northbridge from Friday, 17 to Sunday, 19 August 2018, including a family friendly session from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, 18 August.



Just some of the names gracing the lineup include known favourites Gage Roads , Feral Brewing , 4 Pines , Little Creatures and Matso's Broome Brewery . In super special treat for beer craft enthusiasts, Rocky Ridge Brewing Co. and Cheeky Monkey Brewery will be releasing some new and exclusive beers, just for the festival! You can also sample boutique beers from names such as Artisan Brewing , Pirate Life and Beerfarm .

The Perth Craft Beer Festival will have something for every taste, including a wine and cocktail bar plus fresh bites from some of Perth's favourite food trucks. There will be roaring fire pits to keep the winter chills away, plus a fantastic line up of entertainment.



If you've never taken part in a Silent Disco, this is your opportunity, with this unique type of dance party featuring at the festival. The DJ tower will have the crowd toe-tapping, swaying, shuffling or dancing like there's no one watching.

Pub Songs Karaoke is sure to be a winner, with favourite pub tunes to belt out and an awesome inflatable bar, but perhaps one of the biggest drawcards for the festival is the Battle of the Cattle twin bucking bulls. There's nothing quite like seeing people being thrown around and eventually chucked off a mechanical bull.



Another highlight for this year is the introduction of the Perth Craft Beer Festival Awards, which will recognise the festival's best beers across many categories, including Crowd Favourite.

Every guest will receive a limited edition, craft beer glass and tickets are on sale now. The Saturday Family Fun Day tickets will be on sale in July, so keep an eye out on the website for ticket release dates.

Each ticket purchased receives a limited, craft beer IPA glass, the best beer glass in the world! Session times are Friday, 17 August from 5pm to 11pm, Saturday, 18 August from 12pm to 4pm (Family Fun Day Session) with a second session from 5pm to 11pm and Sunday, 19 August from 1pm to 7pm. All sessions are strictly 18 , except the Saturday 12pm to 4pm session, which is open to all ages.
