The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre hosts many great events, shows and exhibitions every year. This year is no exception with some fabulous events on the calendar for 2012.

Every year more than 600 events are held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and each year more than 500,000 people attend at least one or more of these events. A great way to spend a day, these events are fun and full of information.



[SECTION]Savoir Faire Perth Fashion Week[/SECTION]

Western Australian Designers will be get the chance to showcase their Spring/Summer 2012 and 2013 collections for the first time at WA's first ever fashion trade event.
With a 5 day schedule, Savoir Faire will be a fantastic event for the local Western Australian fashion community.

This event is designed to encourage and nurture the WA fashion industry and will feature many local Western Australian designers and models.

[SECTION]An Evening with Sir Bob Geldof and Todd Sampson[/SECTION]

For the first time in Perth, Sir Bob Geldof, organiser of Live Aid and Live 8, will team up with Todd Sampson, co-creator of Earth Hour, for a not to be missed 2 hour show.

With issues ranging from famine, aid organisations and environmental sustainability to life experiences and advertising this promises to be a highly entertaining and interesting show.

Media advertising guru Todd Sampson appears on the popular ABC TV show The Gruen Transfer and is CEO of one of Australia's leading advertising agencies. He delivers a 45 minute presentation on the advertising industry and its effect on the world around us.

Sir Bob Geldof, lead singer of the Boomtown Rats and organiser of Live Aid and Live 8 world aid concerts, follows with a one hour presentation. He provides entertaining and provocative anecdotes as he discusses his experiences, insights and his own life journey. Sir Bob Geldof is sure to inspire, motivate and uplift the audience.

The Brownes EveryWoman Expo is a big Perth event that is extremely popular with women of all ages. Specifically designed to celebrate everything wonderful about being a woman, there's something for everyone.

The expo showcases everything including jewellery, fashion, health and well-being, beauty, lifestyle choices and a whole lot more.

Grab a bargain, have a facial or a massage, sample perfumes and skin care products, learn about nutrition and alternative health options or have a psychic reading.
