Why not book to see one of these show
There are some very good performers touring Perth this August/September.
This list gives you just some of them and you will need to book as soon as possible to get good seats.
1. TRISTIN & ISOLDE
To celebrate WASO's 90th year, Principal Conductor Asher Fisch will lead two performances of Richard Wagner's, Tristan und Isolde at Perth Concert Hall. This opera is one of the greatest of all the tragic love stories.
WASO welcomes the finest Tristan of our time, superstar tenor, Stuart Skelton and world-renowned soprano, Eva-Maria Westbroek to perform with an exceptional cast of Australian and international singers.
2. ANJELAH JOHNSON US comedian, actress and YouTube sensation, Anjelah Johnson will tour her stand up show around Australia this August. Johnson became well known after her viral impersonation of a Nail Salon employee. She was born and raised in San Jose, California and is of Mexican and Native American descent.
Anjelah has appeared in multiple ads and commercials and was the spokesperson for a Texas-based restaurant chain, Taco Cabana.
3. JOHNNY CASH THE CONCERT
Award-winning Australian country singer Daniel Thompson and Golden Guitar winning Australian country music legend Stuie French, along with their backing band, The Tennessee Express, will bring you Johnny Cash The Concert – Revisits Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison.
Selling over 3 million copies in the US alone At Folsom Prison is regarded as one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. Now you can see Australia's premier tribute to Johnny Cash The Concert as it brings this iconic album back to life.
The show will not only feature the Folsom Prison album in its entirety, it will also feature a set of his greatest hits from throughout his entire career.
4. TREVOR NOAH - END OF DAYS
Trevor Noah, host of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning programme, The Daily Show in the US, is returning to Australia with his new stand-up show, End of Days.
Noah recently won Best Host at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, as well as a Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series for his hosting role on The Daily Show – Between the Scenes. This is a stand-up comedy show and his last one sold out nationally.
5. QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE - VILLAINS WORLD TOUR
Queens Of The Stone Age will return to Australia and New Zealand on their Villains World Tour. They have done hundreds of epic shows, six genre-defining albums and have had multiple Grammy nominations. Their most recent chart-topping seventh album, Villains has now been released.
This is a rock'n'roll band, and band members will be joined by C.W. Stoneking.
6. SAMANTHA JADE "BEST OF MY LOVE TOUR" &...
To mark the release of her spectacular third album, The Best Of My Love, Australia's pop-star, Samantha Jade will be on this September. Presented by Sony Music Entertainment Australia, the show is filled with tributes to greats like Donna Summer, Diana Ross and Gloria Gaynor. Samantha will perform songs such as Best Of My Love, I Will Survive, We Are Family, Upside Down, and How Deep is Your Love.
Samantha will also perform some favourites and established pop hits.
9. PABLO FRANCISCO'S AUSTRALIANATOR TOUR
Pablo Francisco returns to Australia with a brand new show and he will have the audience screaming with laughter!
When Pablo Francisco hits the stage, he immediately brings his audiences to their feet with laughter and applause. He portrays various characters and has clever insights to create a stand-up comedy show that is brilliant.
Fans around the globe have been captivated by his brilliantly accurate sound effects and he does some brilliant impersonations!
10. THE DIRE STRAITS EXPERIENCE
The world's greatest Dire Straits show returns to Australia to perform the incredible catalogue of Dire Straits.
The Dire Straits Experience features original band member Chris White on Saxophone, supported by 6 world-class musicians who have performed in the bands of artists such as Paul McCartney, Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Van Morrison and David Gilmour.
