Book lovers of Perth rejoice! There aren't a lot of events for book lovers to do most of the time but that might be about to change. For the first time, but hopefully, not for the last, Perth is going to have its very own book store crawl . Everyone is invited.



Like a pub crawl, only a thousand times better, the book store crawl will take you from three different bookstores and two bakeries and cafes to refuel. This crawl starts at Beaufort Street Books, where you can meet other bibliophiles, and of course, buy some more books that you will consider reading before going back to your old favourite. Other stops along the way are Planet Books in Mount Lawley and Rabble Books and Games. Try not to spend too much in the first shop, as you will want to buy so much more in the other places. What's more is, on the day you will get 10% off (not currently valid at Planet Books) so you will be able to get 10% more books for your money!

As for the refreshment breaks, Mary Street Bakery and Mrs S Cafe are the two stops on the crawl but beware. Some of the book stores don't allow food and drink into their shops. So you will have to eat all of your yummy goodies (and they promise to be very yummy) before you go in. That won't really be a problem, will it?

This is an all-day event, and it is free to join them, but you're going to want to take some money with you to buy yourself a bunch of bookish treats. You can go with friends, or make friends while you're there. This starts at 10am, and goes until 5pm on Sunday June 5th.
