It is time to usher in the Autumn months after a hot summer and what better way to do it than with the many activities organised by the Perth Autumn Festival? If you are near the Eastern Region, there's something on every weekend between March and May 2015, a doorstep away from the gorgeous vineyards of the Swan Valley and the refreshing Perth Hills.

See below for some of the interesting events you can attend while sampling some of Perth's hidden treasures:
**
a) Jazz in the Park – February to April**

Enjoy free jazz in the park courtesy of the Kalamunda Youth Swing Band starting from 6pm-8pm, every Thursday at Stirk Park weather permitting.

b) Kalamunda Agricultural Show – 27th March and 28th March

An annual event by the Kalamunda & District Agricultural Society, come along and enjoy a variety of stalls, displays, rides and entertainment. If you are a fan of fireworks, there will be an extravaganza on both Friday and Saturday evenings, the 27th and 28th of March. The show is run entirely by volunteers and is located at the Kalamunda Agricultural Hall and Kostera Oval at the corner of Canning & Recreation Roads, Kalamunda.

c) Autumn River Festival City of Belmont – 29th March 2015



Located at Garvey Park from 11am – 3pm on the 29th of March, the Autumn River Festival is a free event organised by the City of Belmont. There is plenty of entertainment for the kids including camel rides, face painting, farm animals and rock climbing. If you are keen for a show, come along to watch spectacular ski shows by the WA Ski Show or just browse through the stalls and displays. There is also a whole-in-one-golf competition for the golfers at heart.

d) Autumn River Festival City of Bayswater – 29th March 2015



Held at the Riverside Gardens, Milne Street, Bayswater on the 29th of March from 10am – 4pm, the City of Bayswater is holding a free event with live entertainment, children activities such as face painting, arts and crafts and bouncy castles and free activities such as model boat demonstrations, stilt walkers and roving entertainment. If you love watermelon, the Bayswater City Councillors will be serving free fresh watermelons.

e) Guildford Heritage Festival 2015 - 29th March 2015**

A free community event with free children's old fashioned amusement rides, step back in history with historical exhibitions from the Swan region, black smiths, the police and military as well as vintage car and hand tools from display. If you love collectables, there is an antique and collectables fair as well as live entertainment and food stalls. The festival starts at 9.30am and is located at Stirling Square at Meadow Street, Guildford.
