The term "person of interest" is often associated with police inquiries. In this case, I can assure you nothing illegal is going on. Art and Design Precinct is showcasing an exhibition of portraits of people whom the artist found interesting or who are doing something interesting.
If you are a regular to these Opening Nights, I'll just have to tell you the date.... Friday 4th April.
These artists are just a few of those in the upcoming exhibition:
Peta Nichol - a regular exhibitor
Wendy Donellan - who has work in the current exhibition
Paul Poskart - who is new to The Precinct.
If you've never been before, make the effort and go. There's no pressure to buy, but it is always a lovely night. Try the tasty snacks, good wine (one free glass with entry) and musical entertainment, along with a friendly crowd ...oh yes... and the reason we are all there, great art.

Each exhibition is totally different but the common theme is great variety and a wide range of prices. Tucked away in a back street in West End, it not somewhere you will notice in passing, but it is well worth finding.

Friday night two musical acts are booked. "PJ Jam" a local duo from Mount Nebo will be doing an acoustic set, and William Fairbairn a composer and pianist who has recently moved here from New Zealand will also be performing.
