This was the second opportunity I had to dine at Peronis, the first being a few months ago for a Christmas party but each time my friends and I went, we decided on ordering the $35 special. The special is not only great value for money, but the dishes are delicious.

The restaurant is situated at 48 Station Street in Parramatta. What makes the Peronis unique from other restaurants is the old heritage style house it is based in. The rooms are wide and open, perfect for functions such as birthdays and weddings.

For entree I started with the Marinated beef served on crispy wonton with potato puree. A cold meat dish which I knew I would enjoy again as I had previously.

The Chicken and corn fritters with pea sauce and mixed leaves also looked like a great dish but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it this time around.

For my mains I decided on the Roast pork neck on a rice cake with a honey soy sauce. I definitely made the right choice; the pork was cooked just the way I liked it. It was nearly at the point where I could cut it with a spoon.

My partner ordered the Grilled chicken breast with ratatouille, she advised it was delicious and tender.

Last but never least, was dessert, a mixed berry bread and butter pudding with a little cream on the side. This really put the icing on the cake for my meal.

The service was friendly, with the staff attending to our needs with a smile. While we did book a table as we thought it might be busy, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't much help to keep noise to a minimum.

Based upon my experiences at Peronis I'd happily recommend the restaurant to others based on the friendly service, fantastic food, and warm atmosphere.
