The City of Belmont is celebrating in a BIG way with their Let's Celebrate Festival. Performances in the Park is but one of 30 free events at the Festival, which you can find on their Events Calendar here , or on their Facebook Events Page . You can also download the Festival Guide here . Most of the freebie events require booking/registering for your free tickets to attend and Covid-safety regulations must be practiced at all times.


Performances in the Park held on Fridays and Saturdays kicks off with Giverny at Shortland Jones Park, 13 Rowe Avenue, Rivervale on Friday 12 November 2021 from, 4-7pm, AWST. Get your tickets here . An afternoon of live performances, bring your picnic blankets and snacks and chill, or purchase food from food trucks and settle in to be entertained. Headline act Giverny will sing and perform with sensational young guitarist Miles Green, and be supported by Gus Noakes and local artists Crimson & Clover and Ant & Ness. You'll hear inspired performances from Abba to Amy Winehouse, Billie Eilish and beyond. Full details are on the rego page.

Saturday 13 November is your next performance, again from 5-7pm AWST, but this time at Redcliffe Park, 33 Morgan Road, Redcliffe. Book/register for your free tickets here for Hits of Abba . It's going to be a night of celebration of all things ABBA. The ABBA Act will be supported by a Lost Legends performance showcasing classics across the decades as well as Crimson & Clover and Ant & Ness. The event will conclude with a small fireworks display. Again, bring the picnic blanket and enjoy this smoke-free event.


The following and last two performances on the Friday and Saturday are as follows. Friday 19 Nov from 4-7pm AWST at Peet Park, 96 Sydneham St, Kewdale will feature the Hits of Adele , so grab your free tickets here . Get ready to be Chasing Pavements and Rolling in the Deep at Peet Park as Gemma Luxton covers the power ballads of Adele. Gemma's Adele Act will be supported by Crimson & Clover, Ant & Ness, and a 70s/80s showcase. The event will conclude with a small fireworks display, so bring that picnic blanket and enjoy.

Last of the performances, Performances in the Park concludes with Magician Pierre Ulric on Saturday 20 Nov from 4-7pm AWST at Peachey Park, corner Kew Street and Acton Avenue, Kewdale. Get your free tickets here to enjoy an afternoon of mind-bending magic and mysteries. Pierre will be supported by local musical acts Crimson & Clover, Ant & Ness, as well as a Steampunk Show. Get ready to wonder 'How does he do it?' as magician Pierre Ulric makes you question what is real and what is not as this free performance. The kids are going to love it, so be sure to be all snacked up and packed up for a lovely picnic in the park. As aforementioned, do check out all the other freebie fun events during the Festival period.
