Perfect World is written by Clarry Evans and Denny Lawrence, who were responsible for last year's highly-successful 5-month season Baby Boomer.
Directed by Denny Lawrence (The Bill, A Country Practice, MDA etc.) Perfect World centres on a crusading teenage activist, a burnt-out disillusioned soldier, and an array of world leaders - who got us into the mess we're in!
The cast includes Sandro Colarelli and Matt Newnham, with Matt Young (who starred in The Producers) and winner of the Bille Brown Emerging Talent Award, Carly Quinn, and featuring a brand new talent and recent QUT graduate Tegan Braithwaite.

Superfry'd brings energy, deep grooves and a heart of soul. They cover classic soul tunes, from the toe-tapping to the intensely emotional captured by songwriting greats.
Superfry'd members have a long history and wealth of experience playing in jazz, funk and soul covers bands like Planet Funk, Midnight Syndicate and The Establishment. They have also played in well-known Brisbane originals bands like The Chrysalids and Died Pretty.
They now focus on the power and groove of Southern soul, featuring works from artists like Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Booker T and the M.G.s, Etta James and more.
Delta Alley Blues Band plays the blues the way they are meant to be played.
Sometimes overdriven and contemporary, sometimes clean and respecting the delta blues of the deep south.
The slide and lead guitar, harmonica and vocals of John 'JB' Brauns (The Soul Men Blues Brothers Tribute Band & Australian Rolling Stones Show) and lead/rhythm guitar of Shane J Tapp, a fixture in the Brisbane music scene, are underpinned by the rhythm engine room showcasing the majestic drum work of Glenn Sargent (Fortunate Sons Creedence Show) and in the pocket bass groove of Simon Begley (Headroom/Hot Ice). Vocals and the occasional rhythm guitar are supplied by former Melbourne blues/rock man Roy Kaufman (ex GMen Brisbane) whose friendship with the late great Dutch Tilders grounded him in the blues.
Delta Alley Blues Band takes you back to the days of Howlin Wolf, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and BB King then on a journey through the classic blues of Albert and Freddy King, John Mayall, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy and onward to the modern masters such as Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, ZZ Top, Jeff Healey, the inimitable Stevie Ray Vaughan, Australia's own Bondi Cigars and even George Thorogood.
Some punters just sit back and groove to the blues, others get up and dance… but they all have one thing in common…. they want more of Delta Alley Blues Band.
We are very excited to welcome Andrew Garton and his Pantheon of Swing performing fantastic live swing music for your listening and dancing pleasure.
The Pantheon features the classic small combo music of the swing era, with influences including Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Illinois Jacquet, and Sidney Bechet.
The songs have been transcribed directly from original recordings of the greatest dance bands of all time. The authentic vintage repertoire is aimed squarely at swing dancers so the band is always grooving hard and the joint is always jumping!
The group is made up of young gun musicians from many of Brisbane's finest vintage and modern jazz ensembles and this talented amalgamation brings unbridled vitality and drive to the swinging sounds of the 1930s and 1940s.
