It is located at the corner of Fleming and Kirkdale Roads, nestled alongside the Mount Coot-tha Forest Reserve, and is run by the lovely, bubbly, and efficient, Leanne Cowell.
She is a former swimming coach, so no stranger to hard work and early hours. She has turned Barista and shop owner and has been in business for 18 months running a Juicy Jungle Coffee truck that resides in the Parklands.
She purchased this shop 3 months ago in the Chapel Hill Shopping Centre and is making it her own, changing the name to Perfect Blend Cafe. She has also surrounded herself with a wonderful, and friendly staff.
The menu items are made on sight and fresh and the prices are really reasonable so you can come for breakfast or lunch, and bring the whole family. Gluten-free and lactose-free options are available as well. The cafe is opened from Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 2:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am-1:00pm.
This gives you lots of times to come and hang out. The cafe is also dog-friendly so you can walk your 4 legged friend and then bring them along for a free dog biscuit, or you can take your coffee on your walk with you.
Why not come by and have coffee after dropping the kids off at school? It is a good space to plan school events or fetes with the other parents. Maybe you could even bring the kids before school and have breakfast together before everyone starts their day.
This is also the perfect spot to come and listen to the birds of the Mount Coot-tha Forest or get into some lively discussions with friends, or hang with some of the regulars who love to come and chat about the goings on in Chapel Hill.
Perhaps you just like to sit quietly, reading the paper, lingering over your coffee. This place is situated to be able to do just that.
For those of you who like to mountain bike in Mount Coot-tha or hike up the Honeyeater Track, you can go wander in the bush for a couple of hours then come and refresh with breakfast, coffee, tea, fresh juices or choose from the lovely assortment of goodies in the display case.
Leanne serves you Neli Coffee, from the specialty coffee roasters who roast to order and are situated in Clontarf, near the Redcliffe Peninsula. You can drink your coffee here now and then take some beans home for later.
If you become a regular, there are loyalty cards and you can get your 11th cup free.
You can find Leanne and the Perfect Blend Cafe on Facebook and sometime in the future quite possibly Instagram as well. For now, you can find her perfectly situated in Chapel Hill at the Perfect Blend Cafe.
