The effervescent Cassy Martin works all week from her home busily creating all kinds of knick knacks to sell. I really liked the many colours she used, in particular the pale blues and pinks which create a homey, eclectic feel.
Broadcraft Design emerged when this talented couple, Natalia and Duncan made a lifestyle change from Melbourne and moved to Kin Kin. What amazing works of art they create and weld together! I was quite taken with these unusual designs and imagined they would make fantastic features in someone's tropical garden. Broadcraft Design have quite the creative flair if you are looking for that upmarket piece.
The next stall that caught my eye was 'Rare Bags'. They travel around a fair bit, having just returned from the Byron Bay Blues Festival. It's great to see a company that supports conservation projects around the world and recycles fabric, bags and patches.
This is one stall on my 'to go and buy' list. Anyone trying to make a difference on this planet deserves respect and support I reckon.
The Peregian Markets are on the first and third Sunday each month and are well worth a visit if a leisurely stroll through the market (beside the beach) is what you had in mind. Grab a coffee, smell the sea salty air and wander, wander, wander.
