Ever wished that you were one of those cool James Bond types, sitting in a cigar bar with a cigar in one hand and a fine Scotch in the other? Then head to and wish no more!

Now, it's worth mentioning that Perdomo is not technically a cigar bar. You see, to be a cigar bar, the venue must serve, you know, alcohol and food. Perdomo doesn't. What's the point then? I hear you ask. Well, Perdomo doesn't sell alcohol, but patrons are allowed to bring their own. You can even stash a bottle or two behind the (figurative) bar, so that it's there for you next time you come.

The venue is a dimly lit lounge, complete with fireplace, where quiet jazz plays in the background while visitors engage in conversations about the economy and trade banter about the quirks of modern day society. Well, maybe not so much that last part. But it's definitely the sort of place where you could engage in that type of chitchat without being mocked. It's tres sophisticated.

And let's not forget the cigars. Yes, there will be smoking. It's a cigar lounge, after all. But a roomful of cigar smoke isn't the same as a roomful of cigarette smoke. Visitors can bring their own cigars or purchase one onsite.

is open from 10.00am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday, and on weekends and evenings by arrangement.
