I've had a lot of good milkshakes in my life and a lot of average milkshakes. But until Percy's Aeroplane Cafe, I had never had an edible flower in a milkshake before. I would have loved to take a photo but my four-year-old promptly screamed and tossed it onto the floor... no, he isn't usually like that, but everybody has their off days! But I guess the point of that is that it was definitely the most magical milkshake I had ever had. Even if that wasn't the case for my four-year-old.

The cafe wasn't overly crowded when we arrived and it was only after a few minutes there that I realised the seating extended out the back as well. While the inside wasn't particularly small, I will definitely grab a seat outside next time I go as I do love a bit of space. The interior was modern and cozy.
As well as the milkshake, my party ordered a latte and a hot chocolate that was huge as well as ridiculously thick and frothy. My partner had the Percy Thyme (pictured), while my son had avocado and bacon on toast and I had pulled pork on the softest fluffiest bread I have ever had in a cafe before. In the words of my four-year-old, it felt like eating a cloud!
While the food was incredible, the real highlight was the staff who were all incredibly lovely. They chatted on and off with my grumpy four-year-old and had him giggling each time within seconds. We will definitely be back!
