Discover the history of Peppermint Grove
Peppermint Grove is one of Western Australia's most beautiful suburbs. The area is close to the river, full of lush park-lands, tree-lined streets, large historical homes, river views, and much, much more.
Proudly supported by the Shire of Peppermint Grove, this self guided heritage tour is an interesting and informative walk that takes in many local places of interest. The tour includes The Albion Hotel, Summers House, Devil's Elbow, Scotch College Boatshed, Manners Hill Park, Tearooms and Baths, Freshwater Bay Jetty, Bleak House, Keane's Point, St Columba's Church and many more interesting sites.
There is a informative brochure to download, with all the details to assist you on your tour. Follow the directions on the map and enjoy a fantastic journey of discovery. It's fun, it's interesting and it's free.
The Grove Library has also developed a 'digital tour' of Peppermint Grove. This virtual tour is accessible by smartphone or tablet and the app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The Peppermint Grove Heritage Tour should take approximately an hour and a half to complete but there is no time limit, you can do the walking trail at your own pace.
