Do you have what it takes to break out of a maximum security prison? With a two-hour time limit it's time to gather some friends and pit your mettle against the metal with this fun, adrenalin inducing, totally unique team building activity thanks to the Uplift Events.

In order to participate you'll need five of your wiliest and most adventurous friends. Together you'll be confined to one of the cells in the old D-Division at Pentridge Prison and given only two hours to escape. Your fight for freedom will depend on a number of successful puzzles and challenges completed within the time limit. Will you be able to find all the concealed items and hidden messages buried somewhere inside the cells?

Take a history walk along the corridors where some of Australia's most famous prisoners have been kept and in the process experience the camaraderie that comes from pulling together and working as a team toward a common goal.

The creative team behind Uplift Events understood the importance of team building within a corporate environment. Having filled the niche for providing activities outside the usual bowling and after work drinks, they expanded their venture to provide similar events for social groups, families and teams of friends with very successful results. Some of their other great activities now include themed event challenges such as City Survivor, the Melbourne Amazing Race, Corporate Kidnap, Corporate Olympics, Paparazzi and many many more.

The scene of the will be set with costumed guards and prisoners. To help you get into character, props and costumes (including bandanas and fake tattoos) will be provided. Once you're dressed, be sure and wear your bravest - scary - face as this 'sheet' is getting real. Once your team has been appropriately dressed, you'll be led into your cell. Feel the confinement of the closing door as you are submersed in this all too real prison environment then forced to 'smart' your way back out.

As part of this experience teams will be given full access to the prison cells, corridors and courtyards in D-Division of Pentridge Prison. Then, afterward explore the gallows and Chopper Reed's cell as an added bonus. Medals will be awarded to the first 'break free' team and everyone who participates will receive a caricature souvenir poster.

Organised and hosted by professional staff, pre-registration is required prior to Wednesday 12th July 2017. This very popular event is sure to sell-out so don't delay. Team members must be aged 16 years and older or have parental consent.

is being held on Sunday 16th July 2017 with sessions starting at 10am and again at 1.30pm. Each team registration is $265 (inc GST) for up to five people and can be completed via the Uplift Events website by following the link here. An information pack will be emailed a week prior to the event confirming registration and providing all the rules and information needed to compete on the day.
