A quirky cafe at Lennox Head, Penny Lane is a great place to meet up with friends or family to enjoy delicious food and drink. The cafe is family owned and operated and is staffed by friendly young people.
Located next to a fitness centre and close to the Lennox Head community centre, you can grab a seat indoors or outside the cafe in an undercover laneway. The Byron Moonshine coffee is locally grown and roasted and delicious. It is brewed with care and complements the home baked goodies.
Lunch offerings are generous and tasty using local in-season fresh ingredients and most of the sauces, jams, and baked items are made in house. They are licensed and serve beer, wine and cocktails. Penny Lane promotes eco-friendly sustainability by giving a discount to people who bring their own cup receives a discount and all take-away is served in fully compostable biodegradables cups, lid, straws and cardboard trays.
They close later on Friday nights with happy hour 4-7 pm and serving dinner from 6pm. They have special degustation and event dinners such as for Valentine's Day. The team will cater for functions and have a thriving takeaway service. Vegans, vegetarian and gluten-free diets can be catered for and they pride themselves on their healthy food and drink options.
