Melbourne has so much to offer. I love experiencing new places and events and sharing them with you.
I have an interest in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets so I will let you know if you these can be catered for in my reviews.

Penn Thai is primarily a takeaway Thai cafe. There was a steady stream of people coming for pickups while we were there.
In Kingsville on Somerville Road, we'd driven past it many times as it is in a strip of shops but not the kind you think of when considering where to get food or go out to eat. But I am glad this time we stopped.
Penn Thai is immediately welcoming. There is a reception couch, I suppose for people waiting for pickups. Photos in frames are on the wall, and a digital photoframe reminds you of the charm of Thailand.
Our hosts were friendly and happy. They showed us to a table in the window where we could look out at the disused petrol station across the street and people walking by. There is limited seating inside. Tablecloths are on tables and pleasant fresh pictures are on the walls.
The menu has the usual options: entrees, soups, stir fries, curries, specials, and accompaniments. We chose the spring rolls for entree.
Prices are quite reasonable. For example, $12.90 for a vegetarian curry, or $17.90 for a seafood curry. Service is faultless and friendly, and it is convenient on a main street, without the hassle of parking.
Penn Thai is worth a visit if you are a local, enjoy the hospitality by eating in if there is a table available.
