Come taste the wine, beer and cider
In its second year, the Peninsula VineHop Festival will take place over the weekend of 17 and 18 November 2018. The weather will surely be much warmer by then and the Mornington Peninsula will, no doubt, provide a spectacular green backdrop to this event. This festival showcases craft beer, wines and cider as well as accompanying food, across a number of wineries and breweries. Blue Range Estate, Dromana Estate, Bayview Estate, Hickinbotham Estate & Hix Beer, and Merricks General Wine Store at Baillieu are just some of the ten venues where all the tasting and fun will take place. You can check them all out

Both days of the festival have something unique and different to offer. VineHop Saturday is full of fun as festival visitors undertake winery and brewery tours on a grand scale. Besides the wine and beer, there will be food trucks and DJs or live music at each of the venues. And no worries about getting from one place to the next! A bus to get you from one venue to the next safely and efficiently is all part of the deal, you can either take a shuttle or do one of the tours which go to all the wineries and breweries. You can find all the information about transport here. It's a good idea to bring some cash so you can purchase food and additional drinks to enjoy on the day or to take home.

PostHop Sunday Session is a bit more relaxed and includes a degustation picnic. This food and drink pairing event gives you a taste of the festival, in a single location with a relaxed Sunday Session feel. Keep an eye out for where the location will be on this page where you can also find the cost, menu, and all other important info.

Ticket prices range from $46 (no bus) to $74 (with bus) and be aware self-drive is not allowed as parking is limited. There is also an option of a private bus seating 11 or 24 people. More details here and bookings can be made through Eventbrite.
