A ticket to the Peninsula Vine Hop Festival includes approximately 4 to 6 tastings per venue. Some of the venues will have a pop-up bar, offering even more samples for you to try. Presale tickets are available now through the website for $38, increasing to $44 for general entry when the presale ends. This festival ticket equips you with a tasting glass on a lanyard – which acts as your 'ticket' at the participating locations.
While you are very welcome to drive yourself around the various locations, one of the shuttle bus options is highly recommended both for convenience and safety. For tasters, the best value shuttle bus ticket will take you to visit up to five of the participating venues. This hop-on hop-off service costs $26, which in addition to our general entry ticket priced at either $38/$44 as per the details above. Book for either one day or the entire 2-day festival and select your preferred route. The buses will leave each venue every 20 minutes, giving you ample time to stay-sample-play before moving easily onto the next and you can go round once, twice or as often as you like with your unrestricted all day ride ticket. The shuttle buses offer free transfers between the Frankston Station and the Rosebud or Dromana VineHop Stop.
If you like to collect bottles along the way of your favourite samples, then a seat on the Festival Tour Bus is the place for you. There will be three Festival Tour Buses running each day so you can pick the route that suits you best then enjoy designated departure and arrival times. The itinerary is provided in advance so you can arrange to meet your friends and plan your day. A ticket to ride on a Festival Tour Bus is $64, in addition to your festival ticket, and gives you the surety of a safe place to leave your coat and purchases along the way. $64 buys you a single day bus ticket.
Private buses are also available through the Vine Hop Festival website starting at $1,000 for a 24 seat bus, which includes a driver. Choose your own venues and travel at your own pace.
