Nothing says relax quite like The Peninsula Picnic. A feast for your senses, this boutique food, wine and music festival is one of the Peninsula's most popular degustation events. Throw down your rug on Saturday 1st April 2017 and enjoy the picnic's new, bigger location with family and friends.
The organising team from INFINITI have hand picked some of the finest restaurants and wineries from around the Peninsula region. Meet folk from Max's at Red Hill, Merricks General Wine Store, Alatonero, Montalto, Green Olive, D.O.C Mornington, Stables Smokehouse and the Flinders Hotel.
Take in a cooking demonstration by Adam D'Sylva, the Executive Chef of Coda and Tonka, along with several other local producers. Then sample your way around the stalls, tasting titbits and treats from the likes of the Peninsula Pantry Farmers Market along with plenty more.
The headline musical act, The Cat Empire, are to create the perfect picnic atmosphere, supported by Bob Evans (Jebediah frontman), the Sydney Folk Angels, All Our Exes Live in Texas and local pair Nyck and Harrison Storm.
This year the picnic has moved to the Mornington Racecourse and the green, serene country setting is just ideal for this outdoor event. General admission is $77 (additional fees may apply) and tickets can be purchased online prior to the event through The Peninsula Picnic website.
The Peninsula Picnic is being held on Saturday 1st April 2017 at the Mornington Racecourse, Racecourse Road, Mornington, from 11.30am to 6.45pm.
