Peninsula Hot Springs is located in the south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. It's a place to temporarily escape from the busy city life and rejuvenate yourself in the beauty of nature.
Thermal pools with various temperatures are scattered among leafy trees and fragrant meadows. The mist shrouding the pools gives this place even a tinge of mysterious beauty.
I especially love the pool on the peak of mountain, where I bathed for almost an hour last weekend. The stunning pool with 360 degree views allows the luxury of bathing while enjoying the sight of faraway rolling mountains, tranquil farms and beautiful forests. Facing the breezy mountain wind with your body bathed in the thermal water, you will feel peaceful in mind and refreshed in body.
[ADVERT]As you may feel a bit hungry after bathing for a long time, it's handy to have some food in the picnic garden near the entrance hall. The scenery there is no less beautiful than the rest. I still remember the cheerful sunshine on that day, and the way it flowed through the trees in the garden. Sitting on the clean grass and sharing food with your friends would definitely become one of your best memories there.
If you are a spa lover, don't miss the thermal pool where a spa was available in the beginning 15 minutes of each hour. It was amazing to experience the 'water massage' on my back, leg and feet. You can even control the pressure by adjusting the distance between your body and the water spray in the pool. The natural masseur, who was 100 times better than a message armchair, will relax all your muscles and make all your pressures melt away.
Don't forget to bring your flip-flop and robe, otherwise you may have to spend extra money on renting them.
After all muscle sores going away, you may feel a bit tired. Now have some milk before taking a nap in your cozy bed, and complete your relaxing day with a sweet dream.
