Relax on the Peninsula
Warm water awaits
Peninsula Hot Springs feels a world away as soon as you step into this relaxing part of the peninsula. With lots of hot water pools to sit in, stunning views, massage packages, and fine dining, Hot Springs is a truly magical place.
I visit the Hot Springs each year for my birthday so I have the whole day to relax and treat myself. The hot water is so relaxing, I like to sit in the pools and change it up every half hour and sit up in the top pool which overlooks the suburb of Rosebud - it feels miles away up there.
The Hot Springs can get quite busy - it's always recommended to try and visit during quiet times such as Mondays and Tuesdays or as early as possible in the morning. Each time I visit, I find it to be quite busy, however, I always get a chance to sit with my partner alone in the nice pools for a while.
The Hot Springs offers packages for those who would like the whole deal including massages, private bathing and dining. I have not yet tried these options, but I have heard great things about them and they are ideal for couples who need some time away or for women to get some pampering and time out from the kids.
My favourite time to visit the Springs is generally in the evening because it feels much more enchanting with the nice lights, night sky, and the water warming us up on a slightly cool evening.
I found the staff at the Springs to be very nice, helpful, and informative. They fill you in on what to do and where to go. You even get your own bathrobe to wear which is nice as it can get quite cold if you aren't in the water. They also provide free lockers to store your items in while you are out in the pools so that your valuables are safe.
Overall, I think the Hot Springs is a wonderful place to visit for true relaxation and anyone who feels they need some time out or wants a night away with their partner to visit this place and make some great memories.
