Raise Awareness & Funds for Poverty in Developing Countries
Ride to rid poverty in the developing world.
Do you enjoy cycling or are you part of a cycling club? Well, why not organise yourself along with some mates and ride for a good cause. The Sunrise2Sunset charity ride on behalf of Baptist World Aid Australia is a community event that takes place on Saturday November 28 at The Criterium Track, Bass Hill.
The Sunrise2Sunset is a 12-hour road pedal from 7am to 7pm. Riders will be in relay format. Also, there will be heaps of family-friendly activities happening. Even if you're not a cycler come along with your family and friends, join in the fun and support the riders.
Be part of helping to break the poverty cycle throughout the developing world. Did you know one billion people live in extreme poverty? Or that two million children are forced into prostitution? Let's make these tragic circumstances a thing of the past. It's up to people like us who live in Australia, a safe and welcoming environment, to help rid the world of poverty.
If you can't make it on the day, why not donate on the website and still be a part of breaking the poverty cycle. For more information about registering and how to raise funds, or to donate click here.
