When I get the craving for something sweet 'n' sour, or more like sweet and salty, this recipe really hits the spot. It's also a great one for those 'I can't be bothered cooking' moments, because it's so easy and fun to make (I put my music on), and great tasting at the end of this quick prep.

Peach Chicken Recipe

1 chicken cut in pieces (uncooked) (or 1kg approximately of chicken breasts or thighs in smaller pieces)

three quarters of the carton of either Peach Nectar Juice or Mango.

1 large onion finely chopped.

Fresh coriander or parsley to garnish.

2 heaped tablespoons of cornflour dissolved in 5 or 6 tablespoons of cold water


In a large pyrex oven dish, put in chicken pieces, chopped onion, and of the juice carton (or bottle).

Leave in oven at 200celsius for 30 mins, then take out and add cornflour which you have dissolved in the water, and swivel it around.

Put in oven for another 5-10 mins.

Add chopped coriander.

Serve with basmati rice.
