Ever heard of a delicious vegan Thai restaurant in Sydney?
Ever heard of a vegan Thai restaurant before? Neither had I, till I discovered Peace Harmony. Serving authentic vegetarian Thai cuisine, this is a fantastic place for a lunchtime catch up during the weekdays or a quick bite.
Sure it's not fancy, fine dining but that's not the point right? Being a vegetarian, it can be hard at times to find a great place which offers lots of variety in menu choices and tastes really fabulous. But Peace Harmony is not only vegan, but very affordable, serves generous quantity meals and tastes absolutely delicious. You can even get a fully vegetarian laksa, which can be pretty hard to find.
There is plenty of variety to choose from including fake meats if you're into that, desserts, and delicious rice, noodles, soups, salads, curries, entrees, and other stir fry. It is hard to believe one can find a place with so many vegetarian options. You can get all the regular Thai dishes you will find at other restaurants and more! Also try the coconut drink - it's highly refreshing and delicious.
You may order online, take away or eat in- your choice. The staff are usually very friendly and provide efficient service but it can be busy during peak times so patience might be required. The seated space within the restaurant isn't very large so definitely make a booking especially if you've got a large group. The furnishing and structures are relatively basic but for that price and taste you really can't complain. Great place for lunch or dinner. Just not on Sundays as they are closed.
Located on Erskine street in the the CBD, Peace Harmony is very easily accessible - only being a very short walk to Wynyard railway station or a bus stop. There's also another one at King street wharf in Sydney which is only a take away place though. Highly recommend it and bring your friends! You'll keep coming back for more because there are plenty of dishes to try!
