From the crevasses of Birmingham, a band has risen to resurrect British guitar music. That band is Peace, this is Delicious!

The brummie upstarts have released an absolute blinder in the form of the watermelon covered Delicious. An EP that plays more like a greatest hits than a debut. From the tropical punch of "Bloodshake" that literally shakes your bones into a dance frenzy, to the psychedelic swirl reverb of "1998" that also is brave reinterpretation of the trance classic of the same name. Whilst "Ocean's Eye" struts in the band's grungier shoes.

However it's California Daze that for me is the EP's highlight, an instant indie classic. It's a bit blur, It's a bit Arctic Monkeys, but it's amazing! Softly strummed guitars overlayed by sun drenched Beatles-esque harmonies, simply anthemic and truly one of the greatest songs of the year. It's that catchy, it will take the strongest rash cream to shake it off, thought I think this is one rash you will want to keep. As the year winds away, Peace are riding high on this resurrected wave of guitar music, that wave is set to crash in the charts this year so prepare your umbrellas. Peace out.
