Event:
Go behind the scenes of BIG SCIENCE in Australia

The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre in Kensington houses some of the most powerful supercomputers in the Southern Hemisphere, enabling Australia's growth and advancement.

Following the success of the recent Pawsey Supercomputing Centre Open Day, Pawsey now opens its doors and invites you and your family to join an interactive and informative tour of the facility guided by a Pawsey expert.

Come along and learn how supercomputing is enabling researchers across the nation do groundbreaking work. You will also have the opportunity to walk through the whitespace to meet Magnus and Galaxy!

This is a great opportunity for the public (ages 12 and up) to visit the centre and see the great high-performance computing power in our own backyard!

The Pawsey Supercomputer Tours are FREE to attend however, registrations are essential.

To register your interest for the event on Wednesday 4th of September 2019, 4.00pm, please visit pawsey.org.au/events and complete the online registration form.

Private tours can also be catered for throughout the year.

Unfortunately, the community tour is completely booked out and one has to wait for 2020. There is scope for tours but you would need to be part of group.
