Save the date; mark it down in your diaries, and bring your furry friend along to The Marine Village on
Sunday 25th of March 2017 as it transforms into a doggy wonderland, with everything planned to make your pooch's day as perfect as it can be! There will be activities available from the get go at the event starting time of 9am and keep going till the finish line at 3pm, whereas other activities are run only at certain times during the event. Either way, there's
6 whole hours worth of activities planned, so make it a family day out rather than just dropping by, because neither you nor your pooch will want to miss out on any of these fun festivities.
Jojo & Lola's Jerky Chompers (9am - 3pm)
Lola from
Jojo & Lola's Jerky Chompers will be holding a kissing booth to raise money for charity. Give Lola a kiss, a cuddle, or ask for a high five or for a photo together for just a $1 donation - or feel free to make a bigger contribution! The chosen charity of choice is
Pets Without Partners, a small independent rescue group whose purpose is to reduce the euthanasia rates of adoptable animals that would otherwise fail in a traditional shelter or pound environment. Susan, owner of Jojo & Lola's Jerky Chompers will also have a stall there, with an extensive selection of high-quality human-grade jerky treats for both cats and dogs; there will also be samples available on the day to help your pooch decide which flavour they'd like you to buy for them - this could get dangerous!

Wet Noses (9am - 3pm)
Another activity that will run for the whole event is hosted courtesy of
Wet Noses, a mobile vet service based on the Gold Coast - they deliver exceptional veterinary care in the comfort of your own home.. although in this case, they'll be delivering exceptional care at Paws & Pizzazz! Wet Noses are generously offering free mini health checks throughout the whole event, so if there's something you wanted checked out, here's your (free) chance.

Wild About Agility Gold Coast (10:30am - 11am; 1:15pm - 1:45pm)
Wild About Agility Gold Coast (WAAG) will be showcasing the agility skills of some very talented dogs on the Village Green in two half-hour bursts - the first will start in the morning at 10:30am, and the second in the afternoon at 1:15pm. Who knows, watching them just might inspire your pooch to start learning some new tricks! WAAG, affiliated with the
Agility Dog Association of Australia, is a small, not for profit organisation, run by volunteers, helping people train their dog(s) in a group setting.

Bonnie's Dog Obedience (11am - 11:15am; 1pm - 1:15pm)
More talented dogs, this time from
Bonnie's Dog Obedience, will also be taking the stage (figuratively speaking - they'll be on the Village Green, not the Main Stage!) on the day in two 15 minute bursts; the first kicking off at 11 in the morning, and the second at 1 in the afternoon. Bonnies Dog Obedience is a multi award winning dog and puppy Training centre, having provided effective dog obedience training in Brisbane
and internationally for over 40 years.

Main Stage Events (10am - 2pm)
There will be several presenters taking the stage on the day, providing both informative and fun entertainment to all - from 10am to 2pm, there will be seven blocks of presenters, with just a 10 minute break (starting at 1pm) during this period.
Pet Parade and Judging (11:30am - 12pm)
Q&A Session with Dr Kyra, Director of
Wet Noses (12pm - 12:30pm) Pet Parade and Judging (1:30pm - 2pm)

Miscellaneous
In addition to Jojo & Lola's Jerky Chompers, there will also be heaps of other stalls with doggy catered businesses; whether it be wares or services, you'll be sure to find something for your pooch! And finally, Sanctuary Cove, host of Paws & Pizzazz, of course also contributes more than just their location to the event:
Off-leash play area (9am - 10:30am; 11:15am - 1pm; 1:45pm - 3pm)
Village train rides - with your pooch! (9am - 3pm)
Jumping castle (9am - 3pm)
Final comments
All in all, it sounds like it's going to be a great day - so come along and join in on all the fun! The event will be held at
Sanctuary Cove , approximately a 1 hour drive from Brisbane's central business district, and approximately 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.
Eddy, Sam and I hope to see you all there!
