The 2 km walk along Moana foreshore will commence at 10am. The fun will then continue until 1pm at Nashwauk Reserve with family/pooch friendly activities and entertainment. There will be demonstrations and an agility course, the RSPCA will provide microchipping and local businesses will promote products and services for your pets.
It is free to participate in Paws on the Shore, but a gold coin donation is encouraged to benefit the RSPCA. Please visit the Paws on the Shore website for more information and to register for the walk.
Registration closes on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. The process involves providing participant details and agreeing to the conditions of the walk (dogs to be kept on a leash, current registration discs must be worn and so on). Registered participants will receive an information pack prior to the walk and a goodie bag on the day.
Hugo's tail was wagging when he heard about Paws on the Shore. Beautiful Moana beach is his favourite place for a weekend walk, to chase his ball, and meet up with his fellow four-legged friends.
The beach has long stretch of soft sand, a designated dog exercise area, and a wide path along the esplanade that offers stunning ocean views. Deep Blue Cafe across the road is a great place to relax and replenish after a long walk.
Register now, get your paws to the shore, and have a woofing good time.
