Do you live out west and are sick and tired of having to drive out to the city because that's where all the dog events are? Well, not this time - because Camden Council are hosting a dog day out... right in the centre of Camden! Who else is super excited for Paws in the Park?!
Paws in the Park is held on Sunday 6th May from 9am to 1pm, at the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park. That's half a day's worth of fun, all planned and ready for you! Plus, with so many other beautiful attractions in the area, it's easy to make it a whole day out for the family. For example, you could check out Razorback Lookout, or Turkeys Nest Picnic Area and Lookout.
There is a wide range of activities that patrons can expect to be on offer on the day, including:
Competitions - start prepping your pooch's Sunday best outfits, and keep practising their best pawty tricks!
Photobooth - make sure you look as good as your pooch does, unless you want them to be embarrassed of their human!
Entertainment - plenty on offer for you to enjoy, free of charge!
If you and/or your pooch is active or are wanting to do more exercise, feel free to join the 3km walk which kicks off at 9am. It's a great way to meet other owners, as well as a great way for your pooches to socialise with other like-minded dogs. Plus, you'll get to take in the amazing views of Camden!
Camden is a bit of a trek from where we live as we're close to the CBD, but we're looking forward to the drive out - going out west means minimal traffic, and beautiful, sweeping country views. We hope to see some of you there!
