Pavement: Children's Clothing Store

Pavement stores are an up and coming brand online and now have a fun new store at Burnside Village Shopping Centre. I was pleasantly surprised at the smart and trendy selection of clothing and accessories for kids at Pavement. Not only is the store well laid out, but displays are not overcrowded and there is no boom boom music that drives Mums crazy like in some other stores.

The clothing here is more upmarket and stylish than the everyday play clothes you find at chain stores. These are the types of clothes you are looking for special occasions like a wedding or a party. They also stock plenty of neat weekend casual wear for going out. The buyers do their job well as they are selecting clothes that are fashionable but still made for children and not dressing them in adult styles.

Have you noticed there seems to be a shortage of some sizes of children's clothing in Adelaide? Sizes here are available from school age through to teens. At a general glance around, I would say the fashion would suit tweens and teens. The girls clothing seems to fill the majority of the store but there is a good selection of boys clothes too.

Pavement stocks jeans and trousers, jumpers, quality T-shirts, blouses and tops, light jackets and dresses. For our little Miss, we found a lovely jean jacket we had been searching for. Just right for those in between seasons when you don't need a heavy coat. They also stock some shoes and boots and many accessories. I visited in winter so my photos show seasonal boots and warm hats. The stock is continually coming in for the new seasons.

The accessories here are a young girl's dream with lots of unicorn items, pink and shiny things, handbags, hats and beanies, headbands, earrings, beads and bobs. We never had stores like this when I was a child. In fact, coming in here could get a kid hooked on shopping for life.

The store also does gift vouchers which would make an ideal gift for a school friend's birthday party - so much easier than wasting your valuable time going around all the stores trying to find that perfect gift. Kids love to go shopping with their own money, so coming here with a gift voucher to choose some trinkets or a new top would be a winner. The accessories would make great gifts also.
