I am a big believer that when it comes to food - everyone has their own likes and dislikes. However, when it comes to Patron Mexican Grill I simply cannot talk to anyone about this restaurant and have anything positive come from it. When I first ate at Patron Mexican Grill I had just moved to Wexford and was looking for a quick bite to eat. Not a good choice.

The decor: The outside is exactly like the inside, no thrills and no frills. This is unlike any other Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. It's by no means a hole in the wall, but it's not exactly very festive either, not in the way of Mexican restaurants anyway. The decor reminded me more of a Jamaican restaurant than anything else.

The food: I have only gone twice, but those two times made me never want to visit Patron Mexican Grill ever again. The food was horrible. It was cold when it should have been hot, both times it was missing something very ordinary and simple like they forgot my rice or they forgot I ordered this instead of that. You can only "forget" so much before a Patron gives up. I gave up and many others have as well. The location seems good, maybe that's why it's still where it is and it's still open.

Cleanliness: Thankfully I have not run into a dirty glass or plate or anything like that. However, they should consider keeping up with the dining room floor as well as the bathrooms. Everything from missing toilet paper or paper towels to clogged sinks to dirty floors. A bathroom should not be this out of whack by any means.

If you want to give Patron Mexican Grill a chance, be my guest, but hopefully you will be a little happier than I was.
