The Pat Cronin Foundation's Walk to the Valley is a family-friendly event along the picturesque Yarra and Plenty River Trails to raise awareness of the need to End the Coward Punch.Held on 18 November 2018, this is the third annual event and organisers are expecting some 3,000 participants to take part! The event will commence at 10.00 am and there will be a FREE shuttle bus to get you to the start or back to the start after the walk.Following the leisurely walk from Warringal Park, Beverley Road Heidelberg to Lower Plenty, participants are invited to enjoy food, refreshments and entertainment all afternoon. Kids can look forward to a jumping castle and giant slide and there will also be auctions and a car raffle !The event is dog-friendly and kids under 12 years walk for FREE. Walk to the Valley raises much-needed funds for the Pat Cronin Foundation, which honours the life of Pat Cronin and aims to prevent coward punch attacks through awareness, education and research.Last year's event raised just under $68,000. Come along with your friends and family and support the Pat Cronin Foundation. Registrations are now open ; General Entry (ages 12 and over) is $25 online or $30 on the day. The fee includes PC12 Be Wise t-shirt.
