Looking for a taste of Peruvian ceviche? Then head over to the former site of Honcho Noodle and Wallis & Ed at the Hotel Windsor. The hotel and Pastuso have teamed up to open a pop-up ceviche restaurant till mid-March.
The pop-up will showcase ceviche and other traditional Peruvian seafood dishes. You'll be able to taste dishes of freshly caught, raw fish cut into bite-sized chunks, marinated in key lime juice from fruits grown in northern Peru, and covered with julienne purple onions. All the seafood is locally sourced.
The menu offers snacks, salads, mains and desserts. A selection of Australian and South American wines will also be on offer to complement the menu, including variations of the Peruvian cocktail Pisco Chilcano. The restaurant is walk-in only and no bookings.
