Yummy custard doughnut.

A trip to Collingwood's Smith Street would not be complete if you did not stop by at Pastry Art Design. As you enter the establishment, there are quite a few customers waiting. Patience is really a virtue here. The flour bags are a great way of grabbing your attention to (open up sesame) and come inside. They are piled up in such an already smallish space, although rest assured you will be fine. If you wish to eat in; a table (or two) is always waiting - either inside or outside.

It is easy to feel like you have put on a bit of weight as you salivate at the cakes and doughnuts. I can't go past the custard ones. Expect velvety smooth custard that is massive on taste without feeling too sugary and great customer service. Despite the long lines, you do get attended to rather quickly. The decor outside is somewhat simple, yet it is just appropriate.
