If you are new to the world of elegant, timeless jewellery, then the Paspaley Flagship Store in Darwin is a great place to start.

The Paspaley family originate from Darwin. They are in direct competition with the Kaillis family from WA. Both families specialise in Pearl jewellery from remote NT and remote WA. The pearl fishing boats leave from Darwin Harbour. I have heard there are tours in the Pearl Fishing boats, but I didn't get a chance to find out exactly how these happen. Pearl fishing has been happening off the NT and Far North WA for years.



The service is impeccable. The staff are friendly. The smaller jewellery items start at around $600 and can be priced up to $20K. Paspaley also makes some bespoke jewellery.

Locals can often be seen wearing pearl studs, pearl earrings and beautiful necklaces from Paspaley. Some of my friends bought jewellery for their partners and significant others and got brownie points for years! So if you are at a loss for what to buy your special someone, walk right in.

The Darwin store also has a mailing list, and if you are lucky enough to be a customer, you may be invited some unique events. Famous Territorians are known to go to these.
