I'm really looking forward to this one. The Pasifika Vibes Festival is South East Queensland's No 1 Polynesian and Maori Festival annually.
Held at the Lawnton Showgrounds on Labour Day, Monday 2 May 2016 this festival will be full of colour and music.
It's only $2 entry fee for adults and students/children are free upon showing student ID card as required. What a fantastic way to amuse the whole family on the public holiday long weekend.
The organisers have given us a fantastic lineup of events and entertainment. Leading the day will be on stage favourite Jay Laga'aia with a Children's Village. Direct from New Zealand will be Sarah-Jane and the Delicious Dance Crew.
This festival is a celebration of Pacific cultures celebrating the beauty of the world and the diversity of its' people. One thing is for sure, the nations of the Pacific are known for two things - their ability to make music and their beautiful smiles. The Pasifika Vibes Festival will be full of laughter and good music. Each year this festival just keeps getting bigger and better.
There will be arts and crafts stalls, local vendors, and delicious food.
On stage, you'll see native Maori and Poynesian dances and lots of other live entertainment.
So come and say Kia Ora, Bula Vinaka, Talofa Lava to the festival friends - say hello to the Monday public holiday with a cheap family day out.
